Maybe it is working. Just not in the way you expected.

There’s a moment we all face in business.
That quiet voice that says:
“It’s not working.”
And from there, it begins.
The second-guessing.
The analysing.
The slow drift into frustration.

You try to fix things that might not be broken.
You look for shortcuts, signals, reasons to stop.
You wonder if you’ve wasted your time.
You wonder if you were wrong.
But what if nothing’s gone wrong at all?
What if the only thing you misjudged…was how long it would take?
What if the work was actually unfolding - just more slowly, more subtly - than you imagined?
We often give up not because we’re failing…
but because we didn’t realise how much consistency, patience, and repetition would be required.
We step away too early.
We interrupt the process.
We never get to see what might have bloomed - had we stayed just a little longer.
Business, like growth, rarely moves in straight lines.
Progress often looks like silence. Stillness. Even struggle.
But underneath? Something is building.
The real question is:
Can you stay with the work long enough to find out what it becomes?
Because the only way to know how much effort it takes…
is to give it everything you've got.
